Yes.
If your provider or plan manager would prefer you to send the invoice directly, you can download it from your Careseekers account and send it on yourself.
When this is useful
This can be helpful if:
- your plan manager wants the invoice emailed directly
- your provider has asked you to send the invoice yourself
- you want to keep a copy of the invoice for your own records.
Before you download the invoice
It helps to make sure:
- the worker’s hours or job report have been approved
- the invoice details are correct
- the right provider or plan manager details are being used.
If a third party is paying, their details should be added to your account first. This can include an NDIS provider, a plan manager or an approved aged care provider.
How to download the invoice
Log in to your account, open the invoice, and download it so you can send it to the provider or plan manager yourself. Careseekers supports this option for providers who prefer direct email from the client.
If your provider or plan manager is paying
Once the worker’s hours or job report have been approved, the invoice can be sent to the third party for payment. In some cases this happens automatically once their details are in your account. In other cases, you may be asked to download the invoice and email it yourself.
If you are using Support at Home funding
If you are using Support at Home funding, your approved aged care provider needs to agree to pay for eligible services delivered through Careseekers. You may still be asked to send the invoice through directly if that is how your provider prefers to process payment.
A few good things to check before you send it
Before sending the invoice on, it helps to check:
- the invoice amount is correct
- the dates and hours are correct
- the provider or plan manager contact details are correct
- the service has been approved properly.
That usually makes the payment process feel smoother and reduces the chance of delays.
