We keep our admin fees low so you can get more hours of care for less.
Whether you are using NDIS funding, Support at Home funding, paying privately, or using another approved payment arrangement, Careseekers gives you clear visibility over worker rates before you book.
Hourly rates on Careseekers
All workers on Careseekers are independent and set their own hourly rates.
That means you can:
- view rates before booking
- compare workers more clearly
- speak directly with workers
- negotiate a rate that fits your budget and support needs
The final rate depends on the worker, the kind of support involved, and the arrangement you agree on together.
Careseekers fees
Careseekers charges an admin fee of 10% (GST excl.) to individuals using the platform.
Admin fees may be higher for:
- provider partners
- agency-managed NDIS participants
If you are arranging support through an organisation or need a different setup, contact us so we can help you work out the right arrangement.
Using funding on Careseekers
You can use Careseekers with:
- NDIS funding
- Support at Home funding, where your approved provider agrees to pay Careseekers for eligible services delivered through the platform
- private payment
The way payment works depends on the type of funding you are using and who is responsible for approving and paying invoices.
Support at Home and pricing
If you are using Support at Home, your approved provider needs to agree to pay Careseekers for eligible services delivered through the platform.
Support at Home is the current in-home aged care program. If you previously used a Home Care Package, this now sits under the Support at Home system.
Why people choose Careseekers
Many people use Careseekers because they want:
- more visibility over rates
- more choice over who provides support
- more flexibility around schedules and arrangements
- a simpler way to compare workers before committing
