Careseekers charges workers a 10% fee that is deducted from the hourly rate. For example, if your hourly rate is $50, the Careseekers fee is $5, and the deduction is handled automatically through the payment system.
Clients are charged 10% excluding GST on top of the hourly rate. Using the same example, if your hourly rate is $50, the client pays $55.50 including GST.
What the fee covers
The fee helps cover the services and protections available through Careseekers, including:
- connecting workers with care and support work
- Public Liability Insurance
- Personal Accident Insurance
- the payment system
- support for timely invoice payment.
Agency-managed NDIS clients
Careseekers is an NDIS registered provider, so agency-managed participants can use the platform. Because agency-managed arrangements require extra work to access funds and complete reporting, the fee for agency-managed participants is 15%.
